A fun gift for that hard-to-buy person: a personalized manhole/sewer cover. Carved from wood in classic Styles: Chicago, New York and LA style and distressed with metallic acrylic paints. It is a great gift for Father's Day, birthdays, retirement, housewarming, anniversaries, kids' rooms, bathrooms, man caves, bars and so on.
There are 3 areas in which you can customize your cover: the top, middle and bottom sections. You can have a utility name like "Water Works", "Sewer", a person's name, a company name; when someone established a business or when someone is retiring after so many years of service, or anything else that will fit.
The bottom section is usually reserved for the town or city. But you have other ideas for the text area, contact us and we'll see if they work.
The manhole cover is 3/4" thick and is made of a lightweight MDF. Available in 2 finishes, Lightly weathered and Rust. Also available in 2 sizes: 12" and 22". Comes with a saw tooth hanger on the back for the 12"and 22" and a stand for the 12".

Every manhole cover is made by hand and can take up to 2-3 weeks to make (depending on demand) and up to a week to ship, so please order in advance of any special occasion.
